This beautiful VW bus originally built in Germany and sold to the American Market living most of its life in Idaho.

Since emigrating to the UK this bus has undergone a comprehensive restoration program leaving no stone unturned in our quest for VW perfection using only the best specialists in the business.

Starting at ground level the body was in very good condition only requiring very small localised repairs to cargo & cab floor.  The underbody was then sealed and wax oiled to protect it for many years to come.

The bus was then shipped off to Edmonds Classic Restos who set about the bodywork laying on a beautiful coat of VW Lotus White paint inside and out which we think looks fantastic.

Upon its return the rolling shell had its glass refitted with new top tint window screen and top quality rubbers all round.  Not to mention powder coated wheel rims with new tyres.

Onto the engine which is a trusty 1600cc twin port.  This has had new cylinder heads, barrels, pistons, pushrod tubes and seals and a rebuilt carburettor to include new correct grade fuel hose throughout by Clarkes Automotive.

Other mechanical items that have been replaced for new are brakes all round (discs, drums pads & shoes) ball joints, track rod ends, drive shafts, cv joints and all cables.

The transformation continued on the interior with fresh headliner before fitting the ¾  width rock & roll bed frame courtesy of Rusty Lee and spacious cabinet storage finished in Driftwood with Puntinella work top and removable/adjustable table.

Luxurious deep Red carpet & basket weave upholstery by Kens Customs with original style welded door cards all set off with handmade curtains by Sarah @ VW Camper Curtains.
